Grace is a mental health professional who brings clinical experience from multiple therapy settings, including both community-based and university-based settings. Grace has a heart for working with adolescents, college students, adults, and families, and is deeply passionate about walking alongside clients through pain, healing, and personal growth.

 

Grace works with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image, grief/loss, relationship issues, and sexuality & gender issues. Grace completed her clinical work at Lee University Counseling Center in Cleveland, Tennessee; where she was able to focus on eating disorder-informed research and practices. Grace is also trained in Marriage and Family Therapy allowing her to work with families, couples and individuals in intimate relationships; helping them to nurture change and development. Grace approaches therapy from a systems and relational perspective, which entails looking at life’s history and context in order to evaluate the impact current and past relationships have on functioning. Grace also uses mindfulness techniques to aid in coping skills and emotional regulation.   

Grace received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University with a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Grace completed her undergraduate work at The University of Tennessee, earning a Bachelor’s degree in English-Technical writing. She is seeking licensure in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling in the State of Tennessee, under the supervision of S. David Hall, PsyD, LMFT, LPC-MHSP-AS. 

 

Grace grew up in Knoxville, and then spent three years in Chattanooga before returning to Knoxville. On her days off, Grace enjoys yoga, painting, spending time on the lake and hiking in the Smokies.
